Blue Eagle for the Day

8th grade visits begin September 2025; 7th grade visits begin March 2026

Visiting IHA during the academic day is the best way to get a feel for the school through the eyes of a student. Seeing the school community in action is often what leads many young women to decide that Immaculate Heart Academy is the best place for them. Students can come for one shadow day, “Blue Eagle for the Day,” as eighth graders in September, October, November, and December or as seventh graders in March, April, and May. Due to the popularity of this program, we can only accommodate one visit per student.

Blue Eagle for the Day typically starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. Visitors may request a current IHA freshman or sophomore student with whom they wish to spend the day, or they will be paired up with one of our Student Ambassadors. 2025 Fall Open Houses

October 19 and 23, 2025

Take a tour with our knowledgeable and friendly student Eagle Ambassadors, who will guide you through the state-of-the-art building and campus

• Meet teachers, administrators, directors, students, and coaches—all of whom are essential members of the IHA family.

• Learn about the admissions process, including the Archdiocesan High School Placement Test (HSPT).

• Ask questions about curriculum, financial aid, transportation … and much more!

We are excited to welcome the Class of 2031 to IHA in the spring of 2026 for a preview day to show you what life is like at The Heart. Seventh-grade students will experience an informative and interactive experience highlighting the unique aspects of Immaculate Heart Academy.
